The value for money was exceptional and our room in the Maximilian Suite was spacious and comfortable. The hotel's location amidst the vineyards added to its charm, and the staff treated us with great kindness and helpfulness throughout our stay.
The only thing that could have made the breakfast even better was a wider variety of items.

We have been there before, beautiful hotel in the wine region.
The venue is beautiful and attracks a lot of events. We couldn't access the premises before 18h and were advised to park outside. The kitchen was closed on Sunday without proper upfront notice. The menu was far from the normal standard. Check if there's anything special going on before you book, to prevent from a disappointment which should not be neccesary if the staff would address this properly.

The hotel was easy to find
Our rooms, although nice, were located not in the main castle building, but in another, separate building. We would have liked to be staying in the main castle building. All in all I thought the hotel was overpriced for the facilities, grounds, breakfast provided.

The location of the hotel was perfect, surrounded by beautiful vineyards and offering stunning views. the staff was extremely helpful and friendly, always willing to assist with any requests. the rooms were well-equipped and comfortable, providing a cozy and relaxing atmosphere.
The vegetarian options on the menu were quite disappointing. They lacked creativity and flavor, leaving much to be desired.

The location was beautiful as was the hotel (castle) which is nestled in a lovely village and surrounded by a vineyard. The staff were incredibly friendly too, nothing was too much trouble. Our room was spacious, clean and very comfortable and the food was delicious. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a relaxing place to stay. We will definitely stay here again when we are next in Germany.

The breakfast was excellent and the coffee superb! Our room, although not in the main "castle" was lovely and large.
Signeage to find the hotel was difficult and only visible from one side of the road. The room could have done with an airconditioner. The room wasn't cleaned for 2 days!

We loved staying at this luxurious hotel surrounded by vineyards. The candle-lit dinner in the charming courtyard was an absolute delight, with beautifully presented and delicious dishes. We were also impressed by the option to purchase bottles of the hotel's private label wine, which we sampled the night before. These bottles are now on their way back to England with us, where we can enjoy them while reminiscing about our unforgettable stay at this venue.
We highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a luxurious and comfortable stay. The Maximilian Suite provided ample space for a long stay, and the bathtub was a real treat.

I had a wonderful stay at a beautiful property nestled amidst vineyards. the history of the hotel added to its charm, and the attentive and kind staff made me feel welcome. the highlight of my stay was the candle-lit dinner in the courtyard, where I enjoyed a delicious meal. Before leaving, I made sure to purchase two bottles of the hotel's private label Spätburgunder Rosé, which I had sampled the night before. I can't wait to enjoy them in my garden while reminiscing about my fantastic stay at this charming Schloss. Cons: Everything was spot on! 👌.

Beautiful building with great potential. Wonderful views of the surrounding vineyards. The gardens are a great spot to relax and enjoy the paper.
The hotel is in desperate need of a refurbishment. The service is lacking, and housekeeping didn't do their job well.

Located in a quiet region with vineyards and wineries, this charming castle dates back to 1597 and offers a unique experience. the breakfast had a good selection of items and there was plenty of parking space available. Some rooms are spacious and clean, and the workshop area is ideal for group events.
The grounds could use some attention and the property seems to be in need of some updates and maintenance.

The location of this hotel in the midst of vineyards added to the overall experience. I loved the delicious dinner served in the courtyard, which was beautifully presented. The hotel's private label wine was fantastic and I was able to take some home with me.
Not obvious to find: Bath salts/foam for the tub.
